Introduction
For Black Friday, tomorrow I will raffle a website among all the REAL accounts that RT this Tweet.
Here begins a thread in which I will tell you about the creator economy, which has been with us for quite some time now, while I build a live website.
This goes for people all over the world. Troll accounts with troll followers will be blocked from appearing in the giveaway. And if it's a person I don't like, I won't work with her either, but I'll pass the prize on to the next one.
One of my clients is an American writer. He has his audience and a relationship with it, several books on different topics (fiction sagas, history of rock music bands and their fans…) and he had a blog that was giving him problems.
So he asked on Twitter something like: “Help me. If you want to build websites (not a blog), which service do you recommend? I'm sick of WordPress.”
Half the world gave their opinion, I went straight to the point:
“I would recommend hiring someone (hire me haha). Unless you are active in the industry, website building is for builders. There is a lot of information to handle.”
He liked the answer, made a comment, and several days later sent me a direct message which started a conversation to build him a website.

The site that I will build now in front of you has a domain called ghostwriting.com. You can click the link and see that right now it's the same as this image.
I bought this domain because I saw it free and I think it will be very valuable in the future. But to make it more valuable faster, I'm going to build a website on top of it.
Tip for perspective on the creator economy: Give value to all things.
When walt disney started his park and was looking for investors, the Magic Kingdom land in Florida still left a lot to be desired. To make a better impression, Walt had names placed under every wild plant, flower, and tree along the park path.
Now I have changed the original WordPress theme for another one of my choice. I find this theme easy to modify and work with. This is a topic for “author site”. However, I plan to make a ghost writing site…
I'm doing several things at the same time, let's list:
- I raise the value of a valuable domain by itself.
- I create a website that I could later resell.
- I set up a Ghost Writing business that can work for me.
On my own website I already offer this service. However, having the domain of the service itself in Spanish gives me another position.
But, to all this, what is ghostwriting?

Actually, it is a trade as old as the world. Today many people pretend to be important because they write their own books themselves. However, author is not synonymous with writer.
For example, about Charlemagne, Holy Roman Emperor, it is said that he did not know how to write. Even without knowing it, he promoted educational scholarships and tried several times to learn to write, although he couldn't.
That did not prevent him from being a leader with enough knowledge to govern or know how to ask for advice, and when not, delegate to a scribe the job of writing from his ideas to edicts.
There is also talk of many authors known for centuries who ghostwritten for other people or who hired ghostwriters to fill the space of a work.
Today, many celebrities, professionals, politicians, and even academic authorities who are highly capable of writing hire a ghostwriter. Whether due to lack of time, ability or priority, they require this service.
Have you already seen the face of a fashion, celebrity or political figure in the window of a bookstore? Ask yourself if that person wrote it.
As I already said, writing is not synonymous with authorship.
The ghostwriter's job is to shrewdly interview the author, find his voice, retrieve his stories, capture his favorite phrases and sayings, and shape all the information so that when the author's acquaintances read the book, they will recognize it.
It also works with strangers, because thanks to the book they already know the author and know how to approach him.
A book establishes an author's authority over his life, profession, specialty, or skill. It is not a mere business card, but a position in front of the world.
Among so many things to consider, the author can demonstrate his authority one by one among all his acquaintances, but he may lack the external perspective of himself to know how to address the entire world with his book.

Although it is beautiful, and an idea occurred to me: upload books from different technical disciplines with a "your name here" by name and with a cover of that specialization.
A technical book of operations of an important position of a company is very important. Because it returns to the business independent of its employees, and at the same time, it frees the person in the position so that they can move on to another project.

The creator economy began with the arrival of the Internet itself to the common user. I built my first website in the late 90s on Geocities, which was a site run by Yahoo, the search engine at the time.
